At the age of seven i completed my first sewing project, a leopard skirt. Looking back at that skirt I remember how good it felt to tell people that I had made it, and to know that no one else in the world would have that same skirt. 

Through my teen years I often tried to steer clear of sewing, acknowledging that I could do it, but really had no interest until one day I realized that not only was I good at it, but it's the one thing that actually felt a passion about. From that day on, I've been challenging myself to learn more and sew as much as I can.

It's a joy to fit clothing and create items for people that they may keep for a lifetime and even pass down to future generations, I know my leopard skirt will be.
